Problem

Simple copy-paste actions are cumbersome in 2D drawings since the relationship between elements are not maintained. How do we solve this cumbersome process of copy-paste in Microsoft application?

Solution

Copy Cat is a tool that enables fast copy-paste while preserving the relationships of the objects. It has 3 modes:

• Basic mode: By defining the relationship between the original and to-be-replicated objects before making the new copies, CopyCat makes the relationship persistent and reuses this relationship on all new copies.
• Fixed gap mode: It allows the user to first define the gap between replicated items before replicating any number they want.
• Pattern mode: Inspired from Unity, we created this mode to replicate a number of 2D objects simultaneously.
